God can't do something...

There is something that God cannot do: He cannot give us up.

Hos 11:8 - How shall I give you up, O Ephraim?
How shall I deliver you up, O Israel?
How can I make you like Admah?
How can I treat you like Zeboim?
My heart is turned within Me;
All My compassions have warmed.

Romans 8:2-3, 11, 13

Rom.
8:2-3
For the law of the Spirit of life has freed me in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and of death....God, sending His own Son in the likeness of the flesh of sin and concerning sin, condemned sin in the flesh.
11
And if the Spirit of the One who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who indwells you.
13
...If by the Spirit you put to death the practices of the body, you will live.

1 Corinthians 1:5-9

That in everything you were enriched in Him, in all utterance and all knowledge,...so that you do not lack in any gift, eagerly awaiting the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ, who will also confirm you until the end unreprovable in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is faithful, through whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

Luke 16:9-13

And I say to you, make friends for yourselves by means of the [1]wealth of unrighteousness, so that when it fails, they will receive you into the eternal dwellings. "He who is faithful in a very little thing is faithful also in much; and he who is unrighteous in a very little thing is unrighteous also in much. Therefore if you have not been faithful in the use of unrighteous wealth, who will entrust the true riches to you? And if you have not been faithful in the use of that which is another's, who will give you that which is your own? No servant can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and wealth."

Luke 15:11-24

And He said, "A man had two sons. The younger of them said to his father, 'Father, give me the share of the estate that falls to me.' So he divided his wealth between them. And not many days later, the younger son gathered everything together and went on a journey into a distant country, and there he squandered his estate with loose living.

Luke 14:26-30

If anyone comes to Me and does not hate ... even his own soul-life, he cannot be My disciple. Whoever does not carry his own cross and come after Me cannot be My disciple.

For which of you, wanting to build a tower, does not first sit down and calculate the cost, whether he has enough to complete it? Lest perhaps, once he has laid a foundation and is not able to finish, all those looking on will begin to mock him, Saying, This man began to build and was not able to finish.
